As Associate, Research & Analytics, Lauren is responsible for assisting with research analysis and investment due diligence. This includes the active monitoring and updating of reports for Westcourt’s funds on shelf, organizing meetings with fund managers, and conducting due diligence on funds under consideration.
Prior to joining Westcourt, Lauren’s previous experience included conducting financial statement analysis, researching the impact of regulatory changes and environmental factors on corporate bond flows, and acquiring coding skills to generate data-driven insights for financial analysis. These experiences, combined with her academic background, equipped Lauren with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and established a strong foundation of financial acumen.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business, where she specialized in alternative finance, corporate finance, and financial forecasting.
