Nicolas (“Nick”) Piquard is Hamilton’s Chief Options Strategist, where he oversees Hamilton’s suite of income-focused covered call ETFs. Nick joined Hamilton in 2023 to build the structural and strategic foundation for the company’s covered call ETFs. He leads the portfolio management team and technical strategy behind Hamilton’s YIELD MAXIMIZER™ ETFs. Nick brings over 25 years of experience specializing in quantitative and options strategies, including a decade as a portfolio manager and options strategist at Horizons ETFs (now Global X Canada). Prior to his career in asset management, Nick spent nearly 15 years as an institutional derivatives trader, working with multiple Canadian and international brokerage firms, where he developed specialized expertise in quantitative strategies, relative value trading, and options volatility. Nick holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and is a CFA Charterholder.
